Travel Rule Policy

Last updated: June 6, 2026

The "Travel Rule" (FATF Recommendation 16) requires virtual asset service providers to collect and share certain originator and beneficiary information for qualifying transfers. As a regulated VASP, CryptoPAYR Limited complies with applicable Travel Rule obligations.

What information is shared

For transfers at or above the applicable threshold, we may collect and transmit to the receiving institution information such as the originator's and beneficiary's name, account/wallet reference, and, where required, address or identifier.

When it applies

The Travel Rule applies to transfers between obliged entities (e.g. exchanges and custodial wallet providers). Transfers to or from self-hosted (unhosted) wallets may require additional verification.

Your obligations

You agree to provide accurate Travel Rule information when requested. Incomplete or inaccurate information may delay or prevent a transfer. We may decline transfers that cannot be made compliantly.

Data handling

Travel Rule data is processed securely and only for compliance purposes, in line with our Privacy Policy.
