This Cookie Policy explains how CryptoPayr uses cookies and similar technologies.
What we use
- Strictly necessary — session and authentication cookies required for the site and dashboard to function (e.g. your login session, CSRF protection, and bot-protection from Cloudflare Turnstile);
- Preferences — remembering choices such as light/dark theme;
- Security — detecting abuse and protecting accounts;
- Analytics (first-party) — cookies set by our own, self-hosted analytics (
_tkv,_tksand_tkv0) that let us count visits and understand how our pages are used. They identify a returning browser only on our own sites and are never shared with an advertising network; - Analytics (Google Analytics 4) — we also use Google Analytics to measure how people find and use the site. It sets the
_gaand_ga_<id>cookies (typically up to two years) to distinguish one browser from another and to group page views into a visit. We run it with advertising features, ad personalisation and Google Signals switched off, so the data is not used to build an advertising profile of you.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, we do not run ads, and we do not sell or share your data with third-party advertisers.
What Google Analytics receives
Page addresses are cleaned before they are sent. Any payment id, invoice, refund or authentication token that appears in a URL is replaced with a placeholder (for example /invoice/{token}), and every query parameter other than standard campaign parameters is removed. When you are signed in we send a meaningless internal account number so that visits from your different devices can be counted once; we never send your name, email address or wallet addresses. Google acts as our processor for this data and may process it in the United States under the EU/UK-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses; see the Sub-processors page.
Analytics & your choices
Both analytics systems honour the same switch. If your browser sends a Do-Not-Track (DNT) signal, or you opt out, our own analytics does not record your visit and the Google Analytics tag is not loaded at all — no request to Google is made. You can opt out at any time by enabling Do-Not-Track in your browser, or by running localStorage.setItem('_tkoptout','1') on our site. Google also publishes a browser opt-out add-on.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent the site or dashboard from working.
