How do monthly memberships work with crypto?
Create a subscription plan with a price and a billing period. When a period comes due, CryptoPayr emails the member a payment link and they renew from their wallet in a few clicks. Crypto cannot be taken from a wallet automatically, so every renewal is the student's own choice.
A company wants to pay for training seats. What do I send them?
Switch on invoices in Settings and create one with a line for each seat, session or workbook. The company opens the invoice and pays it in crypto, or by card if you have turned on "Pay by card". The invoice is marked paid automatically once the payment is final.
What can a student do if they have no crypto?
Turn on "Pay by card" and the checkout shows extra options such as debit or credit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay, plus UPI for students in India and Interac for students in Canada. The student pays a partner, the partner sends crypto to the order, and you are credited the course price in USD.
What are the fees for course creators?
There is nothing to pay before you sell: no setup fees, no monthly fees and no minimums. Each payment carries a processing fee of 2%, dropping to 1.5% above $1,000 a month and to 1% above $5,000 a month. Students who pay by card cover the card processing fee on top of the price.
Can students charge back a course after finishing it?
Not when they pay in crypto. A confirmed blockchain payment is final, so there are no chargebacks. You stay in charge of your own refund policy: if a refund is due, issue it from the dashboard and the student gets an email link to enter the address where they want to receive it.
Can I try it before going live?
Yes. Test mode gives you a sandbox where you can create payments and run through the full checkout without real money. It is useful when you are connecting a custom learning platform through the API, or when you simply want to see what your students will see.
