Crypto payments for web hosting, from shared plans to dedicated servers

Bill hosting, servers and domains in Bitcoin, USDT and 110+ coins through WHMCS or your own panel. A confirmed crypto payment cannot be charged back, so a server you hand over stays paid for.

No setup or monthly feesNo KYC or KYB required110+ coinsNo chargebacks on crypto

Hosting is one of the hardest businesses to run on cards. You hand over real resources the moment an order clears: a VPS with a public IP, a game server, a dedicated box, a domain. Fraudsters know it. Stolen cards are used to spin up servers for spam or attacks, and weeks later the chargebacks arrive, with fees attached and your processor asking questions. Crypto payments for web hosting close that gap, because a confirmed blockchain payment is final.

CryptoPayr is a hosting payment processor that plugs into the billing you already use. The free WHMCS module adds crypto as a payment method on your invoices, and when a payment is final on the blockchain, CryptoPayr tells WHMCS and the invoice is marked paid automatically, so provisioning and renewals keep running on their own. Custom panels can use the PHP, Python or Node.js SDK, payment links or the REST API.

Customers pay with Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, Litecoin, Monero, Solana, TRON and more than 110 coins on every major network, from any country, and they need no CryptoPayr account. Billing outside WHMCS? Subscriptions email the customer a fresh payment link every period, because crypto cannot be pulled from a wallet automatically, and invoices with line items cover custom quotes and one-off projects.

You choose how the money lands: converted to a USD balance by default, so a falling coin never shrinks a month of renewals, or kept in the exact coin each customer paid with. Fees are 2% per payment, 1.5% above $1,000 a month and 1% above $5,000 a month, with no setup fees, no monthly fees and no KYC to open the account. Run several hosting brands under one login if you need to.

Why merchants switch

The problem with card payments for web hosting

Stolen cards buying servers

A fresh VPS paid with a stolen card is a classic fraud pattern: the server is used for spam, scanning or attacks, and then the real cardholder disputes the charge. You lose the payment, pay the dispute fee and often deal with abuse complaints from your upstream provider as well.

Chargebacks after the service is used

Hosting is delivered instantly and consumed over time. A customer can run a dedicated server for a month and still dispute the charge, and the card network usually sides with the cardholder. Unlike a physical shop, there is nothing to take back once the resources have been used.

Failed renewals and expired cards

Recurring hosting depends on cards that expire, get replaced after a breach or get declined abroad. Each failed renewal means reminder emails, suspended services and customers who leave without ever meaning to. For a small host, every renewal lost this way is real money gone each month.

A global customer base banks do not cover

Hosting customers come from everywhere, including countries where international card payments are blocked, expensive or routinely flagged. Many of them would happily pay you, but their card cannot reach your processor, and a bank wire is slow and costly for both sides of the deal.

What you get

Crypto payments for web hosting, done properly

Free WHMCS module for hosting billing

Add CryptoPayr as a payment method in WHMCS and customers pay their invoices in crypto. When the payment is final on the blockchain, WHMCS is told automatically and the invoice is marked paid, so your existing provisioning and renewal automation keeps doing its job.

Recurring billing without stored cards

For billing outside WHMCS, CryptoPayr subscriptions email the customer a payment link each period. Crypto cannot be pulled from a wallet, so the customer approves every renewal, and nothing depends on a card that might expire or be replaced.

No chargebacks on crypto payments

Once a crypto payment is confirmed on the blockchain, it is final. A server provisioned on a confirmed payment stays paid for, and there is no dispute window for a fraudster to exploit weeks later. Refunds stay in your control, from the dashboard or the API.

110+ coins, including Monero

Accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, Litecoin, Monero, Solana, BNB, TRON, Dogecoin, XRP, TON and many more on every major network. Set an underpayment tolerance so an invoice paid a little short because of a wallet fee still completes.

Invoices and payment links for custom work

Quote a dedicated cluster or a migration project as an invoice with line items that the customer pays in crypto. Reusable payment links suit fixed packages, add-ons and account top-ups you sell from a forum post, a chat or your own site.

Payouts and accounts for every brand

Cash out to your own wallet in any coin you pick, or let automatic payouts run daily, weekly, monthly or whenever the balance hits a threshold you set. Run several hosting brands under one login and switch between them without logging out.

Getting started

Go live in four steps

Create a CryptoPayr account with your email address. There is no KYC, no company paperwork, no setup fee and no monthly fee, so you can go live the same day.

Install the WHMCS module

Add the free WHMCS module and enter your account details, or connect a custom panel with an SDK or the REST API. Pay a test invoice in sandbox mode first.

Pick settlement and payouts

Keep USD settlement to lock in the value of each renewal, or hold the coins customers send. Schedule automatic payouts to your own wallet.

Bill customers in crypto

Customers choose crypto on their invoice, pay from any wallet, and the invoice is marked paid once the payment is final. Renewals follow the same path every period.

Crypto payments for web hosting: FAQ

Does CryptoPayr work with WHMCS?

Yes. There is a free, official WHMCS module. Customers choose crypto on their invoice, pay with any of 110+ coins, and once the payment is final on the blockchain the invoice is marked paid automatically. Your existing WHMCS automation for provisioning, suspensions and renewals keeps running exactly as it does with any other payment method.

How do recurring hosting renewals work with crypto?

Crypto cannot be pulled from a customer's wallet, so the customer pays every renewal themselves. In WHMCS, renewal invoices are created as usual and paid in crypto. Outside WHMCS, CryptoPayr subscriptions email the customer a payment link each billing period. Either way, nothing depends on a stored card that might expire or be replaced.

Will crypto stop chargeback fraud on new VPS orders?

A confirmed crypto payment is final, so there is no chargeback for a fraudster to file after using your server. If you add the card options at checkout, the buyer pays a partner who sells them the crypto, any card dispute is between the buyer and that partner, and you receive a settled crypto payment.

What fees does a hosting company pay?

Hosting companies pay the same volume-based fee as everyone else, with no setup fee, no monthly fee and no minimum. The processing fee is 2% per payment, falling to 1.5% above $1,000 a month and to 1% above $5,000 a month. As your renewal volume grows, your rate drops with it, and customers who pay by card cover the card fee themselves.

Can customers pay for hosting with Monero?

Yes. Monero is one of the 110+ coins customers can pay with, alongside Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, Litecoin, Solana, TRON and many more. Hosting customers who care about privacy can pay without handing over card details, and they need no CryptoPayr account to check out.

How do I refund a customer who cancels?

Issue the refund from the dashboard or through the API. The customer receives an email with a link, enters the address where they want to receive the money, and the refund goes out from your balance. There are no bank details to collect and no address to copy out of a support ticket.

Do I need a registered company to accept crypto payments for web hosting?

No. CryptoPayr needs no company registration and no KYC or KYB to open or run a merchant account. Solo hosts, resellers and established providers all sign up the same way, connect WHMCS or their own panel, and can take their first crypto payment the same day.
