Crypto payment gateway for marketplaces and platforms
Onboard sellers as sub-accounts, take your commission on every sale automatically and pay out in bulk, with payout links or with free instant transfers. One integration, every major coin.
A marketplace has every payment problem a shop has, plus a few of its own. Card processors want to vet each of your sellers, hold funds while they do it, and turn splitting each sale between you and the seller into a project of its own. A crypto payment gateway for marketplaces and platforms takes most of that weight off, because the money moves the same way in every country your sellers live in.
With CryptoPayr, a platform account can create a sub-account for each seller over the API. Buyers pay that seller in Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC or any of 110+ coins, and your commission is taken on every sale automatically, with no separate invoice and no month-end reconciliation. Sellers get paid without setting up a payment processor of their own, and buyers check out without creating an account.
Getting money out is where marketplaces lose the most time, so there are several ways to do it. Upload a CSV or Excel file and pay every seller in one bulk payout. Send a payout link to a seller who should pick their own coin and address. Move funds to anyone with a CryptoPayr account with a free, instant transfer. Or schedule automatic payouts of your own earnings to your wallet, daily, weekly or monthly.
If your plan is to resell crypto payments rather than run a marketplace, the self-hosted White-Label Gateway lets you offer checkout to merchants under your own brand. Either way there are no setup fees, no monthly fees and no KYC or company registration needed to start, and test mode lets your developers build and check the whole flow without real money before a single seller goes live.
The problem with card payments for marketplaces
Every seller has to be vetted
Card processors usually want to review each seller on your platform before they can be paid. Onboarding stalls for days, good sellers give up halfway, and a single seller the processor does not like can put your whole merchant account under review.
Splitting payments is a project of its own
Taking a commission and passing the rest to a seller sounds simple. With cards and banks it means separate settlement accounts, delayed transfers and month-end spreadsheets to work out who is owed what, with fees charged at every step along the way.
Paying sellers abroad is slow and costly
A marketplace with sellers in thirty countries needs thirty ways to pay them. Bank transfers take days, some countries cannot receive from your provider at all, and every cross-border payout loses a slice to fees and exchange spreads before the seller sees a cent.
Chargebacks land on the platform
When a buyer disputes a card payment, the platform usually carries the loss, even if the seller already shipped and was paid. Fraudsters know marketplaces are slow to claw money back from sellers, which makes them an easy and repeated target.
Crypto payments for marketplaces, done properly
Sub-accounts for every seller
A platform account can create a sub-account for each seller over the API. Each one takes payments in its own name, so your records show exactly which seller made which sale, while you keep one integration and one login for the whole platform.
Commission on every sale
Set your platform commission and it is taken from each sale a seller makes, automatically. There is nothing to invoice and nothing to reconcile at the end of the month: the seller's balance and yours are both up to date the moment a payment is final.
Bulk payouts from a spreadsheet
Pay dozens or hundreds of sellers at once. Upload a CSV or Excel file with each seller's amount and address, review it and confirm. Every payout address is screened against sanctions lists before anything is sent.
Payout links and free transfers
Not every seller has a wallet address ready. Send a payout link and the seller picks their own coin and address when they claim it. Sellers who hold a CryptoPayr account can be paid with a free, instant transfer between accounts.
White-Label Gateway for resellers
Want to offer crypto payments to other merchants under your own name? The self-hosted White-Label Gateway runs on your own server with your branding, and your merchants sign up with you. CryptoPayr handles the payments behind it.
Built for developers, simple for sellers
Create payments, sub-accounts and payouts through the REST API, with SDKs for PHP, Python and Node.js. Your marketplace is told the moment each order is paid, and test mode lets you build the full flow without real money.

Crypto payments for marketplaces: FAQ
How do seller sub-accounts work?
Once your account is a platform account, you can create a sub-account for each seller through the API. Payments for that seller's orders are made against their sub-account, so every sale is recorded under the right seller. You manage them all from your own platform, and sellers do not need to sign up with CryptoPayr themselves.
How is my platform commission collected?
You set a commission, and it is taken from every sale a seller makes, automatically, at the moment the payment completes. The rest is credited to the seller's balance. You never have to invoice sellers for your share or chase it at the end of the month, and both balances always match the sales.
How do I pay out to sellers?
Choose what suits each seller. Upload a CSV or Excel file to pay many sellers in one bulk payout, send a payout link so a seller can pick their own coin and address, or make a free, instant transfer to a seller who has a CryptoPayr account. Every payout address is screened against sanctions lists.
What does a crypto payment gateway for marketplaces cost?
There are no setup fees, no monthly fees and no minimums. Processing is volume based: 2%, dropping to 1.5% above $1,000 a month and to 1% above $5,000 a month. Your platform commission is separate from that, and you decide how much it is.
Can buyers dispute a payment and pull money back from a seller?
Not on crypto payments. A confirmed blockchain payment is final, so there are no chargebacks to claw back from sellers. Refunds are still possible when you decide one is due: issue it from the dashboard or the API, and the buyer receives an email link to enter the address for the refund.
Can I offer crypto payments to other businesses under my own brand?
Yes, with the self-hosted White-Label Gateway. You run it on your own server under your own brand and offer crypto checkout to your own merchants, while CryptoPayr handles the payments behind it. It is a separate product from platform accounts and suits payment resellers rather than marketplaces.
Do my sellers or my business need KYC?
No. CryptoPayr does not require KYC or KYB to open or run a merchant account, and no company registration is needed. That keeps seller onboarding fast. You still decide what checks your own marketplace asks of the sellers who join it.
