Memberships, tips and paid communities in crypto

Crypto payments for creators and online communities

Sell memberships, take tips and run paid Discord or Telegram groups with crypto. Fans pay in the coin they already hold, and you are credited a steady USD balance with no monthly fees.

No setup or monthly feesNo KYC or KYB required110+ coinsNo chargebacks on crypto

Running a paid community, a fan club or a newsletter means your audience is spread across the world, while card processors and payout services are not. Crypto payments for creators and online communities fix that mismatch. Fans in one country get declined at checkout, payout accounts get frozen after a viral month, and the platform in the middle keeps a large slice of every membership you sell.

CryptoPayr gives you a checkout of your own. Share a payment link in your Discord server, Telegram channel, link-in-bio page or stream description, and fans pay with Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, Solana, TON or any of 110+ coins. Nobody needs an account to pay. When a payment is final on the blockchain you get an email and it shows as paid in your dashboard, so you know exactly who to let in. If you run a bot, it can be told automatically too.

For recurring memberships, set up a subscription plan. Crypto cannot be pulled from a wallet automatically, so each period your member is emailed a fresh payment link and renews in a couple of clicks. Tips and one-off support go through a donation page with an embeddable button for your website, and forum owners can use the official Invision Community and XenForo plugins to take crypto right inside their community.

Every payment is converted to a USD balance by default, so a price swing between a sale and your payout does not touch your income. Withdraw to your own wallet whenever you like, or turn on automatic payouts. There are no setup fees, no monthly fees and no KYC to open an account, which means a creator can go live the same day they decide to.

Why merchants switch

The problem with card payments for creators

Payout accounts frozen without warning

Creator payout services tend to hold funds when income spikes, which is exactly what happens after a launch or a viral clip. A frozen account means weeks without money your members have already paid, and support teams that answer with templates instead of dates.

Fans abroad get declined

A fan in Nigeria, Argentina or Vietnam may hold a card that simply does not work on foreign subscription sites. Every decline is a supporter who wanted to pay and could not, and most of them never come back to try a second time.

Platforms keep a large cut

Membership and community platforms often keep a big share of each sale on top of card fees. On a paid group with a few hundred members, that slice adds up to a real monthly salary that you hand to someone else every month.

Chargebacks on content already delivered

A member can join, read every post, download every file and then dispute the charge with their bank. You lose the money, pay a dispute fee on top and have no way to take back access to content they have already seen.

What you get

Crypto payments for creators, done properly

Crypto payment links for paid groups

Create a reusable link with a fixed price for Discord or Telegram access, or an open amount for tips. Paste it anywhere: a pinned message, your bio, a stream panel. Each payment shows up in your dashboard as soon as it is final on the blockchain.

Subscriptions with emailed renewals

Set a plan amount and a billing period, add your members, and CryptoPayr emails each one a payment link when their period comes round. They pay from any wallet, the renewal is recorded in your dashboard, and nobody is billed for a month they did not want.

Donation page with an embeddable button

Give fans a simple place to tip. Your donation page takes payments in any supported coin, and the embeddable button sits on your website, blog or link page, so supporters are always one click away from chipping in.

Plugins for Invision Community and XenForo

Run a forum? The official, free plugins for Invision Community and XenForo add crypto checkout to the community software you already use, so members can pay in crypto without you building anything or hiring a developer.

Steady USD income

Each payment is converted and credited to a USD balance by default, so you are not exposed to coin prices between a sale and a payout. Prefer to hold crypto instead? Switch to keeping the exact coin each fan paid with.

Payouts on your schedule

Withdraw to your own wallet in the coin you choose, or turn on automatic payouts daily, weekly, monthly or when your balance reaches a threshold. Pay collaborators and moderators with payout links, where they pick their own coin and address.

Getting started

Go live in four steps

Open your account

Sign up with an email address. There is no KYC, no company registration and no setup fee, so you can be ready to take payments the same day.

Choose how fans pay

Create a payment link for group access, a subscription plan for memberships or a donation page for tips. You can run all three from the same account.

Share it with your audience

Pin the link in Discord or Telegram, add the donation button to your site, or install the Invision Community or XenForo plugin on your forum.

Get paid and withdraw

Each payment is credited once it is final on the blockchain. Withdraw to your wallet when you like, or set automatic payouts and let them run.

Crypto payments for creators: FAQ

How do I give a fan access to my Discord or Telegram group after they pay?

Every completed payment appears in your dashboard and arrives by email, so you can add the member yourself. If you run a bot, CryptoPayr can notify it through a webhook the moment a payment is final, and the bot can hand out the role or the invite on its own, using the API or the Node.js, Python and PHP SDKs.

Can members pay monthly in crypto?

Yes, through subscriptions. You set the amount and the billing period, and each period CryptoPayr emails the member a payment link. Crypto cannot be taken from a wallet automatically, so the member confirms each renewal themselves. That also means nobody is charged for a month they forgot to cancel, which keeps your community on good terms with you.

What does it cost to accept crypto payments as a creator?

There are no setup fees, no monthly fees and no minimums. The processing fee is 2%, dropping to 1.5% once you take more than $1,000 a month and to 1% above $5,000 a month. Fans who pay by card cover the card processing fee themselves, on top of your price.

My fans do not all have crypto. Can they still pay?

Turn on "Pay by card" in Settings and your checkout gains extra buttons, such as debit or credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Coinbase and, for fans in the US, PayPal and Cash App. The fan pays on a partner's page, the partner turns it into crypto for the order, and you are credited the order amount in USD.

Can a fan reverse a payment after joining?

No. A confirmed blockchain payment is final, so there are no chargebacks on crypto payments. If you want to give someone their money back, issue a refund from your dashboard: the fan gets an email link and enters the address where they would like to receive it.

Do I need to verify my identity or register a company?

No. CryptoPayr does not require KYC or KYB to open or run a merchant account, and you do not need a registered company. You can sign up as an individual creator and be taking payments for your community the same day.

Which coins can fans pay with?

More than 110 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, Solana, TON, Litecoin, Dogecoin and XRP, on every major network. Fans on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Avalanche or Arbitrum can also use Connect Wallet & Pay to send the payment straight from MetaMask or another WalletConnect wallet.
