Not when they paid in crypto. A confirmed blockchain payment is final, so a buyer cannot redeem the code and then reverse the payment through a bank. If they paid through one of the card options, any card dispute is between the buyer and the partner who sold them the crypto, and you keep a settled crypto payment.
Do you support Easy Digital Downloads?
Yes. There is a free, official plugin for Easy Digital Downloads, and one for WooCommerce. Crypto appears as a payment method at checkout, and when a payment is final the order is marked paid automatically, so download links and license keys are released to the buyer without manual work.
What fees do digital goods sellers pay for crypto payments?
Digital sellers pay the standard schedule: 2% per payment, then 1.5% once monthly volume passes $1,000 and 1% once it passes $5,000. Setup fees, monthly fees and minimums are all zero. Buyers who pay by card pay the card fee on top, which is the greater of $2.99 or 9% plus $1.50.
What if a buyer sends the wrong amount?
Set an underpayment tolerance so a payment that arrives slightly short, for example because of a wallet fee, still completes. If a buyer sends more than the order total, the extra is not lost: it is saved as credit they can use on their next purchase from you.
