Accept AstroPay payments from Latin America and beyond

AstroPay users pay you straight from their wallet: USDT sent from the AstroPay app, or their AstroPay card through our card checkout. You receive a settled payment in USD.

What is AstroPay?

AstroPay is a digital wallet built for people who want to pay and get paid across borders. It is especially popular in Latin America and is used in many other emerging markets, where international cards are hard to get or often declined. Users keep balances in several currencies, send money to friends, and pay online with their AstroPay balance.

Two AstroPay features matter for online payments. The AstroPay app has a USDT wallet, and users can send USDT from it to an outside wallet on TRC-20, ERC-20, BNB Smart Chain and Polygon. And AstroCard, AstroPay's virtual Mastercard, lets users pay at online stores worldwide straight from their AstroPay balance.

For a merchant, accepting AstroPay directly usually means a separate contract and integration. With CryptoPayr, AstroPay users pay through the checkout you already have, and you receive the money as a settled payment in your USD balance.

How AstroPay works on CryptoPayr

With USDT: at checkout the buyer picks USDT and the network that matches their AstroPay wallet, such as TRON, BNB Chain, Polygon or Ethereum. They open the AstroPay app, send the exact amount to the address on your checkout, and the order is confirmed automatically once the payment is final on the blockchain.

With AstroCard: if you switch on "Pay by card" in Settings → Payments, the buyer can pay with their AstroPay virtual Mastercard through our card partners, for payments from $10. Either way you are credited the order amount in your USD balance, minus your normal processing fee of 2%, 1.5% above $1,000 a month or 1% above $5,000 a month.

At checkout

How a buyer pays with AstroPay

Choose USDT or card

The buyer picks USDT on the network their AstroPay wallet uses, or the card option if you have "Pay by card" switched on.

Pay from AstroPay

For USDT they send the exact amount from the AstroPay app to your checkout address. For card they enter their AstroCard details on the partner page.

Confirm

The buyer confirms the transfer or the card payment in the AstroPay app. Nothing else is needed on their side.

Order confirmed

Once the payment is final, the order is marked paid automatically and the buyer sees the confirmation page.

For merchants

Why merchants offer AstroPay

Customers who are hard to reach by card

Many AstroPay users live where international cards are declined or unavailable. Their AstroPay balance gives them a way to pay you that works.

No AstroPay contract

There is nothing to sign with AstroPay. Open a free CryptoPayr account with no KYC or KYB, add the checkout and AstroPay users can pay the same day.

Settled in USD

Every payment is credited to your USD balance by default, so currency swings in your buyers' countries never touch an order you already took.

No chargebacks on USDT

A USDT payment confirmed on the blockchain is final. Card payments go through our partners, and you receive a settled crypto payment either way.

Works with every integration

Plugins, payment links, invoices, donation pages and the API all lead to the same checkout, so AstroPay users can pay you wherever you sell.

AstroPay payments: FAQ

Can AstroPay users pay on my checkout?

Yes. They can send USDT from their AstroPay wallet to your checkout, or pay with their AstroPay virtual Mastercard through the card option. You receive a settled payment credited to your USD balance.

Which networks work with the AstroPay USDT wallet?

AstroPay sends USDT on TRC-20 (TRON), ERC-20 (Ethereum), BNB Smart Chain and Polygon. The checkout accepts USDT on all four, so the buyer picks the same network on both sides.

Do I need an AstroPay merchant account?

No. You don't sign anything with AstroPay. CryptoPayr needs no KYC or KYB to open an account, and you can take your first AstroPay payment the same day.

What does it cost?

No setup or monthly fees. You pay 2% per payment, 1.5% above $1,000 a month and 1% above $5,000 a month. For card payments the buyer pays a card processing fee on top: the greater of $2.99 or 9% + $1.50.

How do I receive the money?

Every payment is credited to your USD balance by default, or you keep the USDT itself. Withdraw to your own wallet whenever you like, or set automatic payouts.

How do refunds work?

Issue a refund from your dashboard or the API. The buyer gets an email link, enters the address where they want the money, and the refund is sent in crypto.

Is there a minimum?

USDT payments have no minimum from us. Card payments through our partners start at $10, including the card fee.
