Accept Cash App payments on your store
Accept Cash App payments of $10 or more from US buyers. They pay with an app they already use to send money, and you receive the order amount in your USD balance.
What is Cash App?
Cash App is a US mobile payment app from Block, the company formerly known as Square. People use it to send money to friends with a $cashtag, receive their pay, spend with the Cash App Card and buy Bitcoin, all from one app on their phone. It is one of the most common ways in the US to pay a friend back or split a bill, and accounts are opened and used entirely on a phone.
It is especially popular for person-to-person payments in the US, and it lets users buy Bitcoin without opening a separate exchange account. That makes Cash App users a mostly mobile audience that is comfortable approving a payment in an app, even if they have never set up a crypto wallet or sent coins to an address. Cash App users can also receive Bitcoin to an address inside the app.
Few online checkouts offer Cash App directly. With CryptoPayr the buyer pays with Cash App on a partner's page, the partner turns the payment into crypto and sends it to your order, and you are credited in dollars. To accept Cash App payments you switch on one setting, and the button reaches every US buyer whose payment qualifies. There is no Cash App account to open on your side and no separate integration to maintain.
How Cash App works on CryptoPayr
Switch on "Pay by card" in Settings → Payments. A Cash App button then appears for buyers in the US on payments from $10, card fee included. Buyers outside the US are not shown it. The button sits beside the coin list and the other US options, Robinhood and PayPal, which share the same $10 minimum, so a buyer can pick the app they use.
The buyer taps Cash App and a partner page opens in a new tab, where they pay with their Cash App account. The partner turns the payment into crypto and sends it to the order. CryptoPayr confirms the order automatically and your store marks it paid, ready for delivery. You are credited the order amount in your USD balance, minus your normal processing fee. The buyer pays the card processing fee on top of the order: the greater of $2.99 or 9% + $1.50.
How a buyer pays with Cash App
Tap Cash App
Buyers in the US see a Cash App button once the payment reaches $10 and choose it instead of a coin and a network.
Pay with Cash App
A partner page opens in a new tab, and the buyer completes the payment there with their Cash App account.
Quick identity check, if needed
A partner may ask a first-time buyer to verify their identity. That happens on the partner page, and CryptoPayr never sees the documents.
Order marked paid
The partner sends crypto to the order, CryptoPayr confirms it automatically and your store marks the order paid, so the buyer gets what they bought.
Why merchants offer Cash App
Accept Cash App payments with no extra setup
You do not need a Cash App account, a business profile or a separate integration. One switch in Settings adds the button to your hosted checkout for every buyer in the US.
A $10 minimum payment
Cash App appears for payments from $10, counting the card fee, which suits game credits, single downloads and low-priced memberships. It shares that floor with Stripe card checkout, Coinbase, Robinhood and PayPal, so a small sale still gets a familiar way to pay.
Only US buyers see it
Cash App is shown only to buyers in the US, so your international customers see options that suit them instead, such as Coinbase, cards through Transak or Simplex, or crypto.
Dollars in, dollars credited
The buyer pays in dollars and you are credited the order amount in your USD balance, minus your processing fee of 2%, 1.5% or 1%. The card processing fee is paid by the buyer on top.
Payouts on your schedule
Withdraw your balance to your own wallet in the coin you choose, set automatic payouts daily, weekly, monthly or at a threshold, or move money to another CryptoPayr account instantly and for free.

Cash App payments: FAQ
Can buyers outside the US pay with Cash App?
No. Cash App is a US service, and the button is only shown to buyers in the US. Everyone else sees the other options on the same checkout, such as Coinbase in most countries, cards through Transak or Simplex on larger payments, or any of the 110+ coins.
What is the minimum payment for Cash App?
$10. The minimum counts the buyer's whole payment, the order plus the card fee, so a slightly smaller order can still qualify. It is the same floor as Stripe card checkout, Coinbase, Robinhood and PayPal, and below it the buyer can still pay with any of the 110+ coins.
How much does the buyer pay on top?
The buyer pays a card processing fee: the greater of $2.99 or 9% + $1.50. On small orders the $2.99 floor applies, so a $10 order costs the buyer $12.99. On a $30 order the fee is $4.20, for $34.20 in total. You are credited the order amount, minus your processing fee.
How am I paid for a Cash App order?
In US dollars, to your CryptoPayr balance. Once the partner's crypto reaches the order and CryptoPayr confirms it, you are credited the order amount minus your processing fee, your store marks the order paid and you get an email. Withdraw in the coin you choose, or set automatic payouts.
How do I refund a Cash App buyer?
Issue the refund from your dashboard or through the API. The customer gets an email with a link and enters the crypto address where they want to receive it, for example the Bitcoin address in their Cash App. The refund goes out in crypto rather than as a Cash App transfer.
Do Cash App buyers have to verify their identity?
Some partners ask a first-time buyer to verify their identity before buying crypto. That check takes place on the partner's page, and CryptoPayr never sees the documents. Your checkout stays exactly the same, and the buyer does not need a CryptoPayr account to pay.
How do I switch on Cash App?
Open Settings → Payments and switch on "Pay by card". Cash App comes with it, so there is nothing more to configure. From the next order, buyers in the US see the Cash App button on payments from $10, alongside Robinhood and PayPal.
