Accept Robinhood payments from buyers in the US
Robinhood customers in the US can pay you from $10 with the account they already invest with. You accept Robinhood payments and receive the order amount in your USD balance.
What is Robinhood?
Robinhood is a US investing app known for commission-free trading of stocks, funds and crypto. It is one of the apps that made investing from a phone common in the US, and its crypto service lets customers buy and hold Bitcoin, Ethereum and other coins in the same app as their shares. Customers fund their accounts from a linked US bank account.
Its customers are people who already keep money, and often crypto, inside Robinhood rather than in a separate wallet. Some of them have never sent coins to a wallet address, and the middle of a checkout is not the place to learn. For them, paying with the account they already use is the shortest route from cart to confirmed order, and Robinhood keeps them inside an app they know.
Robinhood is a US product, and on CryptoPayr this option is for buyers in the US only. If you sell to American customers, accepting Robinhood payments adds a familiar name to your checkout next to Cash App and PayPal, while you still receive a settled crypto payment and never have to open an account with Robinhood yourself. Your store keeps one checkout and one balance, and Robinhood becomes one more way for US buyers to finish an order.
How Robinhood works on CryptoPayr
Turn on "Pay by card" in Settings → Payments. Buyers in the US then see a Robinhood button for payments from $10. Buyers outside the US are not shown it, and see the other options that fit their order and region instead. There is nothing to configure for Robinhood on its own: it follows the same switch as every other partner button.
The buyer taps Robinhood and a partner page opens in a new tab, where they pay with their Robinhood account. The partner turns the payment into crypto and sends it to the order. CryptoPayr confirms the order automatically and your store marks it paid. You are credited the order amount in your USD balance, minus your normal processing fee.
How a buyer pays with Robinhood
See the Robinhood option
A buyer in the US whose payment comes to $10 or more sees a Robinhood button on the checkout, next to the coin list and the other partners.
Pay with Robinhood
The partner page opens in a new tab, where the buyer completes the payment using the Robinhood account they already have.
Verify if the partner asks
Some partners ask a first-time buyer to verify their identity. That step stays on the partner page, and CryptoPayr never sees the documents.
Order confirmed
The crypto reaches the order, CryptoPayr confirms it automatically, and your store marks the order paid without you checking anything.
Why merchants offer Robinhood
A checkout option for US investors
Plenty of US shoppers keep their savings and their crypto in Robinhood rather than in a wallet. A Robinhood button lets them pay with the account they already use, and you receive a settled crypto payment.
Shown only where it works
The button appears only for buyers in the US. Buyers elsewhere are not shown a Robinhood option they could not complete, and see cards, Coinbase or crypto on the same checkout instead.
Accept Robinhood payments from $10
The $10 minimum payment covers everyday online orders, from a month of software to a game item or an ebook. Below it, the buyer can still pay with crypto from any wallet they hold.
Paid in dollars, minus your usual fee
You are credited the order amount in your USD balance, minus your processing fee of 2%, 1.5% or 1% depending on monthly volume. The buyer covers the card processing fee on top of the order.
Pairs with Cash App and PayPal
The same "Pay by card" switch also shows US buyers Cash App and PayPal for payments from $10, so your checkout covers several familiar American apps without a separate setup for each one.

Robinhood payments: FAQ
Who can pay with Robinhood?
Buyers in the US only, using their Robinhood account. The button is shown to US buyers for payments from $10 and hidden for everyone else. Buyers outside the US can pay by card, through Coinbase in most countries, or with any of the 110+ coins on the same checkout.
What is the minimum payment for Robinhood?
$10. Below that the Robinhood button does not appear. A US buyer with a smaller order can still pay with crypto directly from any wallet they hold, using any of the 110+ coins on the checkout.
Who pays the card fee?
The buyer. The card fee is added to what they pay, and you are credited the full order amount, minus your normal processing fee.
How is a Robinhood order settled?
When the partner's crypto reaches the order, CryptoPayr confirms it and credits the order amount to your USD balance, minus your processing fee. Your store marks the order paid automatically. You can then withdraw in the coin you choose, or set automatic payouts daily, weekly, monthly or at a balance threshold.
Can I refund a Robinhood payment?
Yes, from your dashboard or through the API. The customer receives an email with a link and enters the crypto address where they want the refund, for example a receiving address from their own crypto account. The refund is paid in crypto, not straight back into a Robinhood balance.
Will Robinhood buyers need to verify their identity?
Some partners ask a first-time buyer to verify their identity before buying crypto. If that happens, it is on the partner's page, and CryptoPayr never sees the documents. Nothing changes on your checkout, and the buyer never needs to open a CryptoPayr account to pay.
How do I switch on Robinhood?
Go to Settings → Payments and turn on "Pay by card". Robinhood is included, with nothing else to set up. From the next order, US buyers paying $10 or more see the Robinhood button beside the coin list and the other partner options that fit their order.
